Rock on the Rec 2017 was organised by Parish Councillor, Zara Leeder, for the community. It raised a very respectable £413.05 for the Recreation ground funds despite the weather. Performances came from 3 local bands:  Skipyard Rockers, Midnight Specials and Powerhouse Special.

Many thanks to Andy Pegg who sorted out all the electrical technical stuff for us he was amazing and thanks to Peter Patten for doing the raffle. Thanks to all who came and supported the event and helped in the rain and thanks to the bands who performed. Hoping for better weather next year ?.
