‘Hidden Figures’ is the incredible untold true story of a team of female African-American mathematicians, who served a vital role in NASA during the early years of the U.S. space program. As the USA raced against Russia to put a man in space, NASA found untapped talent in a group of female mathematicians who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in U.S. history. Based on the true stories of three of these women, known as “human computers”, the film follows them as they rise through the ranks of NASA, specifically tasked with calculating the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big…
