Report: Saturday Supper 9th February 2019

The Saturday Supper was a great success: a fun and friendly evening with great food, a raffle and table quiz, giving a boost to both church and village hall funds. We made a profit of £807 – special thanks go to all who bought tickets to support our causes and created a lovely atmosphere.

It was a real team effort and we are grateful for all the help and donations we received to be able to run the event. These included potatoes from Seaman’s farm, various food items from Morrisons supermarket and numerous delicious desserts and vegetarian alternatives donated by villagers. We employed Kate Lewis Catering to provide the Beef Bourguignon and Kate & Neil Lewis did a great job of supervising our volunteer catering staff and washing up. Thanks to all who prepared, cooked and served the food, decorated the tables and volunteered their time on the bar to keep the drinks flowing all evening.  To download the photo just click here.
