This year marked the 75th anniversary of VJ Day, when the Second World War ended. IF government regulations allow us, we are hoping to hold a short act of remembrance on Sunday 8th November at 10:45 outside at the village war memorial.

Those who attend must remain in their family bubbles, and obey the rule of six, and we would suggest that they also wear face coverings.

However, as the current situation with COVID 19 is so fluid we might have to cancel at short notice. Therefore if you plan to join us please look at the village website to confirm if the commemoration is still taking place.
