Parish Council Meetings

Details of Parish Council meetings will be provided covering the calendar, agendas, meeting minutes, reports and specific meeting documentation. Take a look at the specific links below:

With the exception of August and December, Parish Council meetings are held every month, normally (but not always) on the third Thursday. The schedule is available on the website and can be read by clicking here. The agenda for all forthcoming meetings is displayed on the village noticeboard no later than weekend before the meeting starts and it’s also available on this website.

Public opportunities to contribute

At an early part of each meeting, the Parish Council Chair opens the meeting to the visiting public for input which means there is no fixed agenda for this part. Points raised will be noted and if matters can be resolved there and then, all the better. For more significant matters, i.e. ones that may require further research and possibly a formal decision, it is unlikely that the Parish Council can deal with them at that time.

How to make your voice heard

All members of the community are reminded that they are represented by the Parish Councillors so if they want the Parish Council to deal with a matter in a more structured way, then a more formal approach is advised. One option to ‘make your voice heard’ is to liaise with one of the Parish Councillors, well before the a meeting, to request that an appropriate agenda item is included for the next meeting.

Your representatives – the Parish Councillors!

An up to date list of the Parish Councillors is displayed on the village noticeboard and is also available on this website by clicking here.
