  • Link to download Frank’s funeral webcast – time-limited

    Hi all

Please see this link https://we.tl/t-o6EcITMTtL  if you’d like to download Frank’s funeral webcast and watch at your leisure.  NB: It’s only valid till Tuesday 12th May 2020.  Apologies that it’s taken me two days to send!  Hope you can find time to do the download this weekend.  It’s very quick and easy.  I will be running off DVD copies for anyone not able to use their computer (eg some of his more senior friends!).

In these difficult times, I am so sorry we weren’t able to stand you food, drink and the chance to share memories of Frank after the funeral.  Hope to see you at the wake in HIndolveston Village Hall on 28 April 2021 at 12.30 pm, God (and the government) willing!  This will be followed by a trip to Norfolk Bluebell Wood Burial Park to view his and mum’s memorial for those who wish.  Alternatively, his ashes were interred there next to Mum’s, in glorious bluebells, last Wednesday (6th May), and a new memorial to both of them will shortly be available, together with a plaque on a wooden bench nearby, where Frank and Vicki would love you to sit!  So do visit before next April if you wish: the park is open as normal and social distancing is VERY easy!

Meanwhile a huge thank you to everyone who sent cards, emails and messages of support, and for everyone’s thoughts and prayers.  Please bear with me if I haven’t replied to you individually, but Dad had so many people who loved him that it’s been a full time job keeping up with all of you!  I will get around to it – but in the meantime please do call or message the number below any time.

God bless, take care and stay safe.

With love from myself and Dad – I know he will want me to send it from him also

    Ali xx

  • LIVE STREAM FOR FUNERAL OF FRANK BURNETT

Let’s go fly a kite – Hindolveston Recreation Ground 2016

It’s with sadness that I have to announce the death on April 23rd of my much loved Dad Frank Burnett, formerly of Gillets, Fulmodeston Road.  Dad and my Mum Vicki, whom we lost in 2016, lived in the village for 30 years and loved it.   There’s a huge number of happy memories which I hope we may all share on 28 April (Frank’s birthday) 2021 when a wake is booked in his memory at the Village Hall.  Meanwhile, please find details below of how you can join with us to say goodbye (no, sorry, as a believer I mean au revoir … !). The webcast is available for 28 days after its live screening, until May 30, so I hope very much you can be part of it, though Coronavirus means there’ll be very few of us physically present.  Meanwhile, a huge thank you to all Dad’s friends in the village who were such a big part of his life.  God bless you.

    With love to all

    Alison (daughter) xx
